The Background

It occurred to me that there are many recipes that I make that have no recipe.  They are dishes that my mother and father cooked and taught me how to do.  This happened during high school and college, because in those days my mom and dad both worked and I usually arrived home before them.  My dad was always ravenous when he came home.  So my mom wanted me to start the meal when I got home so it could be on the table soon after they got home.

Congratulations to Madeleine Klingeman, the 2013 winner of the Randolph Republican Club scholarship.  Madeleine was honored for her contributions to the Randolph Township Traffic Advisory Committee (TAC) as well as her high academic standing while at RHS. She has been active in the TAC anti-texting initiative as well as other initiatives concerning safer driving habits by our younger residents.
